Dala Township is the 'other side' of Yangon City. A periphery that serves the main city by providing laborers and various services many of which are exploitative in nature and doesn't help the poor of this side of Yangon. They are keeping their lives intact by spending all of their time in rigorous menial jobs to earn less then they need to feed themselves. Children are no exception in these conditions, their parents are unable to take good care of them, that's more than evident when you go through the narrow pathways.

August 2013 was a memorable day for several children who could apply for the membership of Helping Hand Children Club, mostly fatherless children whose guardians were determined to continue the education of these children despite socioeconomic pressures. Helping Hand for Relief & Development decided to stand alongside them to materialize their dreams of making these now vulnerable children the future's active citizens for their nation.

This dream will come true only if we could involve the stakeholders in this noble cause. The social organizer ((Ko Naing Aung Min)) is determined to build a social network to create a safety-net in this township for the all vulnerable children.

Saw Yo Har thinks these children can learn the basic skills on their own with the help of volunteers and social workers without consuming much time of their guardians who are much busy in bread earning.

He is giving his precious time for the social uplifting of these vulnerable children who cannot imaging they were so important.

Whereas Stephine ((Pan Mu Yar Bo)) is happy doing volunteer work and collecting community and beneficiary feedback, she says, "it is encouraging that mothers and teachers are taking interest in this program".
